Atex directive
Learn about the ATEX Directive!
In the July 2010 issue of VoltiTECH, we cover the ATEX Directive, which refers to safety in hazardous and potentially explosive areas. The ATEX Directive was designed to protect people and equipment working in certain types of hazardous areas, including those areas where an explosion is a... significant risk. The Directive, for which compliance has been compulsory since 1st July 2003, covers electrical and mechanical equipment intended for use in hazardous and potentially explosive atmospheres, as well as protective systems. To learn much more, look out for the next VoltiTECH technical e-newsletter, which will be published on 13th July
